After working at her brother’s jewelry store for 15 years, Kathleen A. Treude-Vaughan was ready to pursue her own business. She wanted to open a friendly, neighborhood jewelry store in Philadelphia’s up and coming Fishtown region — easily accessible to both out of town visitors and Philadelphia natives. After purchasing ideal storefront property, Kathleen approached FINANTA for a loan to help launch her business. The commercial space needed some minor renovations, and start-up inventory and capital were very much needed.
