Tamrya Santiago approached FINANTA for assistance when purchasing a mini-market located at Mascher and Montgomery. After a few months of technical assistance FINANTA financed the purchase, and shortly thereafter, used an Empowerment Zone grant to assist with necessary store improvements and equipment upgrades. 

As with most mini-markets, Santiago and her family quickly became a staple of the community. Over the past four years, we have seen the family improve their ability to run the business and understand their finances. They are now preparing to purchase their first home through our residential mortgage program.  FINANTA continues to work closely with them to help make their dreams come true and ensure professional and economic success.
